Wedding Ring Jewelry Memories |

My husband and I recently celebrated our eleventh wedding anniversary. As I reflected back over the past several years, I decided that it was time to visit our wedding album for another viewing. I love looking at all of our photographs, and one of my favorites is the picture of our ring jewelry. We actually had two ladies taking pictures. Our photographer was the paid one. One of our friends from church was the unpaid one who blessed us with an abundance of photographs that captured many moments in our big day. While our paid photographer was taking photos of our ring jewelry, our friend was capturing my husband slipping his shoes off to give his feet a break. Don't grooms usually end up with rented shoes that are too tight? One valuable lesson that we learned about wedding ring jewelry was that one should purchase a wedding band made from the same metal as the engagement ring. My engagement ring is platinum with 14K gold accents. My husband almost bought a white gold wedding band for me. When a friend (who happens to be a jeweler) told him that my platinum diamond ring would eat away a white gold wedding ring, he quickly changed his mind and bought a platinum wedding ring for me.
