This morning my husband let me know in a not so subtle way that he was out of his favorite mens cologne. I couldn't help but laugh at him, because rather than just telling me that he was out of his favorite mens cologne, he brought the bottle to the kitchen and sat it on top of the shopping list. I asked if he was trying to tell me something, and he asked whatever gave me that idea. He's such a jokester.


Since I know how much he loves his favorite mens cologne, not to mention the fact that I love it when he wears it, I decided to order him a bottle and have it delivered to his office. I know he'll not only be surprised but he'll be wondering what on earth he's doing getting a package at work, much less mens cologne. In the meantime I'll leave the bottle sitting on top of the shopping list, as though I haven't even thought about the mens cologne, much less actually done anything about ordering any.

My husband and I have been known to order not only his mens cologne there but also many other items such as jewelry and perfume. I don't usually order his favorite mens cologne in a gift set, but I thought that he'd enjoy having not only the after-shave, but also the toilette spray. I added a gift card that said something along the lines of a little birdie told me that he needed some new mens cologne, so to consider it an early Christmas gift. I signed it Mrs. Claus. He'll get a kick out of the fact that I sent it to his office but also he'll love the note I attached to the mens cologne. It wouldn't surprise me to stop in at his office sometime and to find the gift card hanging on the wall somewhere as a little reminder of the gift. Obsession by Calvin Klein has been my favorite mens cologne for as long as I can remember. I was so thrilled when I mentioned that to my husband when we first married and the very next day when he came home, he was wearing that particular mens cologne. Just thinking about it brings a smile to my face.
